We constantly get questions from folks who love Bourbon but just don't know where to start with Irish whiskey. We also have Irish whiskey lovers who won't touch a Bourbon with a 10 foot pole!
In this blind tasting, Jim will expertly pair three Irish liquids with three classic Bourbons to showcase the similarities and differences that elevate each liquid to it's purest form.
We are not sharing the names of the included brands just yet! The fun of a blind tasting is that your preconceptions won't get the better of you before you have even had a sip! I can say, and I quote, “these are really nice bourbons” that were “allocated” to the Snug from our distributors - even though we are an Irish whiskey bar. (And I promise, none of them are Jim Beam.)
Guests will be met with a classic cocktail featuring a bourbon that is not included in the tasting and our signature Snug grazing board served family style.
At the end of the tasting there will be about 30 minutes for you to grab a pint or a measure and enjoy the company of other Whiskey Club members.
We will not do carry-out bottle sales at this tasting but you can pre-order, they will be in the following week!
