SNUG Founder honored at Belfast Whiskey Week

Thanks to all of you who sent in your votes for the Snug and Jim as part of the Irish Whiskey Industry Awards at Belfast Whiskey Week 2025!

We were thrilled to learn that Snug Founder, Jim Arnoldt, won Brand Ambassador of the Year (Independent) and was invited up to receive his award during the dinner on 7/26. Jim eats, sleeps and drinks (literally) the Snug all day every day. Without his advocacy and dedication the Snug would not be what it is today just 18 months after opening on New Years Eve 2023.

Jim & Blythe were also gobbsmacked when they learned about an extremely limited bottle release by Transportation Whiskey from Tasmania honoring the Snug! Made by John Halton for a Transportation whiskey tasting during BWW, Jim and Blythe were able to taste this single pot still, hear the feedback and spend time with John talking about the process. They even shipped home a few bottles for some Snug folks who met Johnny at Cork Whiskey Fest in 2024! Sadly, no other bottles are available but we look forward to future collaborations and (hopefully) getting Transportation Whiskey into Indiana and the Snug sometime in the future!
